Don't be a sucker. This is so overpriced since it uses an outdated Intel Chipset and the absolutely bottom of the line GM3100 video controller found in the cheapest Netbooks and Notebooks around. This is no more than a $350 - $450 Notebook nothing more. Research your products. Rates as a Class 5 video Processer.For this money you can easily buy a 17" screen with dual 160GB 7500rpm drives, Excellent Nvidia High end graphics (9000), with a New LED Screen too IF you know what to look for. My guess which is educated since I am in IT is that Sony makes 100% markup on most things and the dealer will also come close too.
I found neither to be a problem for me which is why I gave this product 5 stars. The only complaints I heard from others when purchasing was the internet connectivity and the sensitive touchpad. I bought this computer for school work only so other than my design software and office docs, this will not be used for entertainment. It has all the features I wanted in a laptop and came in a great design and color.
When I orders something express.it should go out that day. the only thing i was unhappy about is.that I when i ordered it.express.1 to 3 days. They finally shipped it, like 3 days later.
It was built to run Vista so it's doesn't struggle. Oh, yeah it has BLUE RAY.
Lightweight and good battery life. and a DVD-R and camera media readers.
I bought this in Sept. Beautiful design, great keyboard and nice wide screen.
2008 at a MEGA electronic store on clearance for $460.00 and it has been wonderful.
It also hasn't had ANY viruses or problems for me in the past 6 months.
The laptop was super easy to just turn on, connect online, watch Netflix, Skype, everything I need it for with great speed, hard drive space, screen quality, and a beautiful pink color, which I never get tired of. I bought this laptop a few months ago, and love it. It's been wonderful laptop so far. So glad I bought this. It has all the specs I wanted as far as screen size, quality, speed, latest stuff, etc. I was hesitant to switch to Vista, but have had no complaints.
